Bangkok Day 2: 6 Aug 2015

Woke up naturally late, and after the usual morning shower, headed to the must go Siam Paragon for brunch.

I always come to the food court at Siam Paragon. It has nice ambience with air conditioning, and the quality of the food is great as well.  Ordered the pretty standard pork platter with braised pork, intestines, fried pork and semi cooked egg.  In addition, a bowl of wanton noodles with crab meat by the side.

After a very filling brunch, it was a lift ride up to the theaters to check out the shows available.  The initial intention was to catch an IMAX movie, but they have 4D theaters here.  Hence my purchase to my first ever full length 4D movie tickets!!

Prior to the movie, a quick stop at the money changer before heading to the Siam Paragon supermarket, my favorite place to shop.  Saw this very interesting Gac juice and I jus had to try!  It has a tangy sweet flavor that this both tasty and refreshing.

The 4D movie was an interesting experience, with the chairs rocking in tandem to the scenes.  Smoke, flashes and water splashes were also included to make it a multi-sensory enjoyment!

After the movie was a late lunch at Siam Paragon.  This was probably my first time to spend the entire day in this mall!

River Prawns Pasta
Salted Fish Fried Rice
A massage session and headed back to the apartment.  Along the way was a dinner stop by the road, a bowl of rice noodles soup!

Back at the apartment and with the gorgeous night view (the apartment was at 25th floor), I had my dessert in the form of local durian and chocolate ice cream!! What a great first day!!
