Sydney Day 3: 29 June 2015 (Newtown & Olympic Park)

A lazy late wake up day.  The room's heater was really warm and cosy!

After settling all check in procedures, it was a rush to the bus for Newtown.  Brunching with Eliss and Elliot at Brewtown was great!  Somehow, the food always tasted better in Australia.  It must be the fresh ingredients and the dedicated skills towards preparation.  The great presentations also made the meals more mouth watering!!

The surprising part was the crowd.  It was a Monday morning, and the queue was amazing long!  I cannot imagine what the crowd on weekends!!

Queue extended outside of the shop

first ever soy milk latte
After brunch, it was Black Star next.  How can I not have the delectable watermelon cake!  We also had a huge one with a sesame chiffon cake.

Huge crowd on a Monday afternoon!!!

the very delectable strawberry watermelon cake!!

Eliss and baby Elliot

After the afternoon with Eliss, it was down to the first outlet stop: DFO at Homebush.  It was a rather disappointing mall with lots of shops but nothing much to buy.  Good for window shopping though.  I had a Kale vegetable juice to chill out and it was tasty!!

A short ride afterwards and Sydney Olympic Park was arrived.  Here's Day one of the Hillsong conference 2015!

It was a very huge crowd.  Even though I had arrive an hour early, I would not find any seats and had to run around the arena several time before settling on the steps.  However, it was all worth it and the sermons were inspiring.  The opening act was fantastic, with laminated spheres atop a dozen performers.  I was already anticipating my next rally in 2 days' time!!
