Melbourne Day 2: 20 Nov 2016

We woke up late and made breakfast from our purchases from Coles the night before.  Simple but heartwarming.

It was a short drive to the nearby beach for a stroll on the sand, plus another drive to Right Point for some spectacular views before heading towards Nobbies Ocean Discovery Center.

We had a cuppa hot chocolate with amazing views of the coast before venturing out for the coastal walk.  The walk was amazing!  The sea breeze was cool with the gorgeous blue skies and sea.  Rolling green hills hugged the coastal line and pink flowering blossoms scattered in density all over the place.  It was an explosion of wild nature's colors!

After Nobbies, it was time to head back to Melbourne city. We took a different route and along the way stopped over at Warbrook to pick up some strawberries and cherries as well as another sit down chatting session.

We arrived Melbourne around 6pm and settled nicely into my apartment at Oaks, which had amazing views of Port Melbourne!  The top floor balcony was fantastic and the studio apartment was fully furnished with all essentials, including 2 queen beds.  Cornflakes was even provided, just get milk!

However, we had to rush out rather quickly for our dinner.  We parked our car at Yufei's apartment at Southbank before making our way to Crown Casino's Oyster Bar's Grill.  This would be my most expensive meal of the trip!  We ordered a glass of red and boy was it delicious!  I could even smell the fruity fragrance when it was poured into my glass!

Dinner consisted of the Atlantic seafood platter which cost AUD 290.  It was nice, but not really worth the price given the quantity provided.  We also ordered the Slow Roasted Miso Marinated Lamb Rack which turned out to be fantastic!  A side of fries and Raddico Salad completed the very filling meal.

We had a stroll along the river by South Bank before saying good nights to eat other and returned to our respective accommodations.  Yufei would return to her townhouse while Edward would return to my apartment for the night.
