another packed weekend

Seems like I've been experiencing programmes-packed weekend the whole of this month! The weekend which has just passed was the most packed yet so far this month: I had 2 sessions of wine drinking on Friday alone, 1 with my colleagues at the posh Oosh @ Dempsey Road, followed immediately by another with CF, KK and PF at the serene PS Cafe. Tell you, I've never drank that much wine in a single day! I was too intoxicated that I couldnt be bothered when KK was drink driving us home that nite!

Woke up really really late on Saturday at 1pm... After resting for a couple of hours, I headed to Clark Quay for a dinner session with WS and CF. After which, we went for my 3rd KTV session in 3 weeks at PartyWorld. Cant believe it! Previously, I reckon I went KTV at most once every 2 weeks.. Luckily today was spend really on resting. Went for an afternoon swim and got myself a nice brown tan.

The coming weekend is gonna be another packed one, with my fren Edward flying into town for a weekend trip. Hmm.. hope to bring him (together with another fren Carol) to the Wee Nam Kee chicken rice, the DHL balloon, and the Sentosa Beach Bars.

Dragonfruit Cheese Cake with Brownie Walnut Base

My final attempt at making cheese cake this month. This was the Dragon fruit Cheese Cake I've wanted to make for teh past 2 months. The pictures below are from my 2nd attempt, which was brought to my office. The rich walnut brownie base and the creamy soft cheese top was received better than I've expected by my colleagues.

Below are pictures of my 1st attempt, which was a bit watery as I didnt cool the cream 1st before mixing. Also, the cheese content was lesser. BUt nonetheless, the taste was still the same. Well, at least i've learn a new crucial step in making such moussey cakes.. hehe.

Marble Cheese Cake

Last sunday, I created yet another cake creation: Moist Chocolate Cake with Baked Cheese Topping. It was a small cake, but was quickly snapped up when I brought it to the office. The next one will be a cheese cake as well, Dragon Fruit Cheese Cake!.. hehe
